A TightRope is a patented implant designed and marketed by Arthrex, originally for use in human orthopedics. We now have a new implant for cranial cruciate extra-capsular repair in the dog. This implant is stronger than the nylon implant most commonly used today, and is placed through bone tunnels drilled through the femur and the tibia. Thus, there are no anchors to break or pull out.
